FeedIt is inevitable that there will be children at your wedding reception, whether they get on your nerves or not. I love kids. They have such joy that I would be sad if there weren't any running around at my reception! So what can you do to make sure that the kiddos are enjoying the party as much as the adults? I've come up with a few ideas...
Ice Cream Sundae Bar - Set up a self-serve ice cream station jam packed with different flavors and toppings. Guests can create their own sundae masterpiece. The kids will love it!
Edible Favors - Send 'em home with something they can enjoy the day after the reception... possibly some truffles from Davidson Chocolate Company? Click here for more favor ideas...
Separate Play Area - Designate a specific room or area of your reception that is a Kid-Only Zone... give them space to run, some snacks to inhale, and hire a responsible babysitter to watch over them so parents can have their freedom.
I can't help but notice that my ideas all involve food... What can I say? I love snacks as much as the next kid! What child-friendly tactics will you put into play at your reception? Perhaps a Smilebooth?
