What's Happening: Monkee's of Morrocroft Sale

While I’m not really a fan of the laws of Labor Day ruling out white fashion, I’m certainly glad that these “rules” carry no relevance in the realm of home décor. Weekend Ahead: Alexander Scott Soft Opening

If you’ve driven by the old McColl Center for Fine Art on East Boulevard over the past few months, you’ve seen a change taking over this space. Now, you can see that change on the inside. Alexander Scott, a home interiors outpost that will be home to a host of vendors displaying décor goods in a series of sections divided around the two-story store, will open its doors today for a “soft opening.” The official, grand opening will take place on September 17.

Back-to-School Fashions: Charlotte Shop Talk on Charlotte Today WCNC

A New Voice for Charlotte Shop Talk

 Hello, loyal, fashion followers! In recent weeks, we've bid adieu to our beloved Jenn Grabenstetter, former style editor, style maven and the usual commandeer of Charlotte Shop Talk. I've spent the past two years under Jenn's wing, writing and picking posh pieces for our BUZZ section in Charlotte magazine, and well, helping to style much of what has been style in Charlotte Wedding and Home+Garden. I've got some incredibly tough Tory Burch wedges to fill, but I'm thrilled to introduce myself as Charlotte's new style editor and the person who will be bringing you many of these posts. Our mission hasn't changed: we're here to keep you trendy, tell you where to do it, and scout the sales, shows and stores this pretty city has to offer.
