02/24/12The Pink Hanger BOGO Sale
Secret sentiment that I probably share with most of the world: I have no respect for Payless Shoes's BOGO sale. Maybe it's because I hate the commericals, or maybe it's because I've never seen a pair of shoes in store that look like they could actually withstand the walk to the parking lot. But, I have mad respect for The Pink Hanger's BOGO Sale, and that's because the clothes (and accessories) are of creme de la creme quality, they're gorgeous, and the prices on them are unbeatable today and tomorrow (open till 6). Here's how to play: Buy 1 sale item, and get the 2nd item... Read more » Posted at 12:29 PM | Permalink | Comments: 0 |

We always love sharing our fashion secrets with Charlotte Today Show host, Colleen Odegaard, and the rest of you on live TV, and tomorrow morning, we get to do it again! 02/05/12Escape to East Boulevard Super Bowl Sales
This girl has no clue who's playing in the Super Bowl tonight. From that, I guess you can gauge my utter lack of interest. And if you're anything like me, and you want to escape the responsibility of whipping up queso or sandwiches for a house full of football fans, we're in luck! Our favorite East Boulevard shops have joined together to get us out of the house and let us shop all afternoon, from 1-5 p.m.(so, for those of us who actually have to make an appearance in front of the TV tonight, you'll be home in time for kick off). So, who are the real MVPs today? -Petal -Laura James Jewelry -Sloan -Coral -Cottage Chic -Monarch -Wine & Design (1-3 p.m.) ... Read more » Posted at 01:06 PM | Permalink | Comments: 0 |

02/03/12FROCK Shop Opens in Plaza Midwood
We had the pleasure of highlighting Caroline Cook-Frers and her charming vintage meets resale traveling trunks shows (full of reworked, fab finds, like dresses and accessories) in our November issue (where you can read in greater depth about Cook-Frers). Now, we’re thrilled for her, and those of you who have fallen in love with her goods or have yet to discover them, because her permanent FROCK Shop outpost opens tomorrow in Plaza Midwood’s Museum of Neighborhood Art (MoNA). But the show goes on for the trunk shows, which are... Read more » Posted at 04:32 PM | Permalink | Comments: 0 |

02/01/12Style Spotlight: Gorjana Bracelets at Luna
In the hopes that our little friend Punxsutawney Phil doesn't see his shadow tomorrow, I'm higlighting an accessory that's completely spring. On that note, there's nothing that says spring this season like bold COLOR, and more often than not, it's in hues of neon. For that reason, we're loving these Gorjana leather, neon bracelets at Luna and Luna online. They're $52.50, in stock, and the perfect punch of color to transistion your wardrobe slowly into spring. They're available in neon pink, yellow, orange, and green, and are sprinkled with gold studs. Get with it. 6809 Phillips Place Court, Ste. Victoria Robinette reclaimed her Charlotte roots three years ago, when she returned from journalism school in Chapel Hill. She’s filled her post-college days hot on the Queen City fashion scene, writing and styling for Charlotte Wedding, Home+Garden, Where Charlotte and Charlotte magazine. Now, she’s taken the reins as style editor of Charlotte. She loves sky high wedges and cozy riding boots, pampering her two Yorkies, finishing sentences with “Seinfeld” lines, and putting everything on hold for Tar Heel basketball.
