William Rast (a.k.a. Justin Timberlake) for Target

This December, the world's most successful former boy-band member (unless we are counting the Jackson 5 as a boy-band. Are we?) will team up with Target for a designer collection. Well, technically his fashion line William Rast, which is mostly known for its denim, will be doing the teaming, but we imagine that they'd be fools not to utilize the pretty face of J. Timberlake to increase sales.

Our question is this— will this designer/discount collaboration finally yield something for the men in our lives? These designer collections are almost exclusively targeted at female shoppers. While I don't dispute that is probably a sound marketing strategy, I can't help but feel for the guys who would also be interested in a designer label for less. Maybe Justin will throw a little something their way.

Will you be lining up to wear Justin's jeans come December 19? What designer is on your wish list for a Target collection?  Let us hear it in the comments.

About Victoria

Victoria Robinette Victoria Robinette reclaimed her Charlotte roots three years ago, when she returned from journalism school in Chapel Hill.  She’s filled her post-college days hot on the Queen City fashion scene, writing and styling for Charlotte Wedding, Home+Garden, Where Charlotte and Charlotte magazine. Now, she’s taken the reins as style editor of Charlotte. She loves sky high wedges and cozy riding boots, pampering her two Yorkies, finishing sentences with “Seinfeld” lines, and putting everything on hold for Tar Heel basketball.
