News Bite: Carrburritos heads to Davidson

Davidson residents Doug and Edie Surratt plan to open the second location of Carrburritos on South Main Street by early December. The new location of the Mexican-inspired casual restaurant will take up 3,500 square feet of the Wooden Stone Gallery and will also offer catering and special events services. (The original Carrburritos is at the corner of Franklin and W. Rosemary streets in Carrboro, not far from the UNC Chapel Hill campus.)

The Surratts have lived in Davidson for twenty years: Edie Surratt is the co-founder of the Davidson Farmers Market and the sister of Gail Fairbanks, who owns the original Carrburritos with her husband, Bill.

Are you looking forward to having a Carrburritos nearby?
