Rooster's Wood-Fired Kitchen Opening Uptown

Rooster's Wood-Fired Kitchen Opening Uptown

It's official. Rooster's Wood-Fired Kitchen, the South Park favorite owned by Jim Noble, is opening a second location in uptown Charlotte at One Bank of America Center. (This will be the first restaurant in the center.) Roosters, which is known for using regional ingredients (a dining trend Noble was at the forefront of in Charlotte),  features a la carte southern cuisine with international influences in an upscale environment. The new location, which is under construction currently, is projected to open in the fall of 2010 at 150 North College Street.

In the meantime, if you haven't tried Roosters' tasty pan fried corn or tender spit-fire roasted chicken, you should probably do that. (No point in waiting until fall 2010.)  Check out the South Park location at 6601 Morrison Blvd.

About Sarah

Sarah Crosland grew up in a small North Carolina town on sweet tea, barbecue, and garden grown veggies. A few trips around the world later she has a taste for Thai, a love for Latin dishes, and a slight fixation on French food. Here in Charlotte, Sarah enjoys cozy dives with character just as much as the city’s see-and-be-seen steakhouses and sushi bars.
