Grand openings for Quaker Steak & Lube and American Roadside Burgers this week
Quaker Steak & Lube
June 6, 3 p.m.: Quaker Steak & Lube will celebrate the opening of its new Pineville location (10405 Centrum Pkwy.), which will offer seating for 375 people including a patio and two bars. The restaurant will feature spinning motorcycles hanging from the ceiling, a 1978 Sting Ray 25th Silver Anniversary Edition Car, the #31 Caterpillar NASCAR, and a hanging Corvette.
June 9, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.: American Roadside Burgers will host a grand opening celebration at its new SouthPark location. The first location opened last October; this second, 3,500-square-foot location will be the brand's flagship and corporate headquarters. The celebration will feature a display of classic cars and motorcycles, plus live music, including an afternoon performance by The Blue Dogs. American Roadside will also present donation checks to two local charitable organizations, the Autism Foundation of the Carolinas and Classroom Central. (The company donates a portion of the sales of its Signature Burger to charity.) The restaurant officially opens for lunch and dinner on Monday, June 11.
