Charlotte’s LGBT Community Shows ‘Pride’ with Parties, Concerts, and Festival Aug. 23-27
Miami-based rapper Trina headlines a concert at the Pride Charlotte Festival this weekend in Uptown.
The annual Pride Charlotte Festival, a fundraiser for the LGBT Community Center of Charlotte, has grown so much that it now encompasses more than a week’s worth of events. The festival, itself, is Saturday and Sunday, but events are already underway and there are corresponding parties tonight and tomorrow night, before wrapping up Monday night. The events are for the gays, meaning same-sex enthusiasts, as well as for the gay, meaning happy. Below are some of the many Pride Charlotte events.
