PPL Announces Speaker Lineup, Including Arianna Huffington

Charlotte magazine first told you about the PPL, which will serve as a home-away-from-home for independent media visiting Charlotte during the DNC, in the August 2011 issue. Well, the plans have come together, and the space is looking good. The hub will be based at uptown's Packard Place, at Third and Church streets. I was driving from Charlotte Douglas International Airport this morning and noticed that the previous “Welcome To Charlotte” sign that was painted on an embankment has been replaced with a “Welcome | 2012 Democratic National Convention” sign.
