One of our favorite trends continues to shine this spring: bright, saturated jewel tones. From shiny satin heels and silky camisoles to springtime frocks and oversized clutches, all of the above come fashioned in beautiful bauble hues such as amethyst, emerald, canary yellow, and more. The look is versatile, from office to cocktails (think a silk blouse peeking from underneath your neutral suit jacket). Not the trendsetting type? Incorporate it in small doses with pieces such as the goatskin Bearn wallet by Hermès ($990) in a striking violet hue or patent leather Loiss flats by Coach ($168), which come in varying shades like a soft ruby red and vibrant Kelly green. If you add a little, or a lot, or you’re conservative or fashion forward, the jewel-tone trend adds color and personality to an otherwise simple look.
