A new ride at Carowinds offers bird’s-eye views of the city

The classic amusement park’s new ride, WindSeeker, hoists riders to a lofty 301 feet high and swings them around at more than thirty miles per hour. Offering sweeping views of the city—and a temporary sense of weightlessness—it’s not for the faint of heart—or stomach. (Imagine swinging at thirty miles per hour from the top of the Westin.)
