UNC Charlotte Botanical Garden Valentine's Day Orchid Sale

Feb 10, 2018 to Feb 14, 2018
10:00 AM until 03:00 PM

This event occurs daily, every 1 day(s).

It’s time to show those you love how “green” you are!  Give them a living, lasting gift from the UNC Charlotte Botanical Gardens Annual Orchid Sale.

Love, luxury, beauty and strength: all the messages that orchids send when given as a gift.  This is the year to start your orchid collection.  At the gardens we have been extending and improving our collection and helping you determine which orchids are the best ones to try at home and which ones you should come visit at our greenhouse.

Some orchid’s blooms may last from 1 – 3 months.  Just think how your loved one will feel as they gaze at your beautiful Valentine’s Day gift long after February 14th.

And an extra added benefit for those of you celebrating a 14th or 28th anniversary.  This is the flower commemorating those events! Don’t miss this opportunity.

This year’s Valentine’s Orchid Sale will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday February 10, Monday February 12, Tuesday February 13, and Wednesday February 14 and 1 to 4 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 11, at the McMillan Greenhouse. Botanical Gardens staff members will be on hand to answer questions and help individuals select orchids well-suited for their home.
