THURSDAY (FEB. 28)

The 7th-Annual Charlotte Jump Off
Uptown, 6 p.m., $23
Four DJs from Virginia, Washington and North Carolina all convene for the annual party at Vapiano, 201 S. Tryon St., tonight for this event. There’s free admission with an RSVP before 8 p.m., and the party goes until 2 a.m.

Day Party 5
Uptown, 1 p.m., $23
105.3 FM hosts this party with DJ Stacey Blackman and DJ 360. The party is at Suite, 210 E. Trade St., and goes until 7 p.m.

Kid Capri at Howl at the Moon
Uptown, 9 p.m., Free
Kid Capri is the featured guest tonight at this party at Howl at the Moon, 210 E. Trade St. There’s free admission before 10:30 p.m. with an RSVP. After that, it’s $48.


FRIDAY (MARCH 1)

The 14th-Annual VSU Legends Of Troy Meet-and-Greet Day Party and Champagne Brunch
South End, 11 a.m., $45
Choose between the champagne brunch package for $73 (that also includes entry to the day party) or a general admission ticket without brunch for $45. The brunch features live jazz music and a free mimosa. The party all happens at Slate Billiards, All American Pub and Hot Taco, 200 E. Bland St.

FriDAY Lerium 4 DayParty
Uptown, 2 p.m., $23
Howl at the Moon’s first day party of the weekend is today and lasts until 7 p.m. Repeat tomorrow with two out-of-town DJs if you still have some party in you. The event is at 210 E. Trade St.

DayDrip Day Party
Uptown, 2 p.m., $18
Kandy Bar hosts this day party featuring Votte Hall, Charlotte’s Power 98’s DJ Incognito and New York City’s Power 105’s DJ Ty Boogie. The party goes until 8 p.m. at 210 E. Trade St.

Playhouse
Uptown, 9 p.m., $12
DJ Flash is on hand tonight at Lucky’s Bar and Arcade, 300 N. College St., for this trap karaoke party. There’s free entry with RSVP before 11 p.m.

Stepshow Throwdown
Uptown, 7:30 p.m., $27
It’s Greeks versus Greeks tonight at the Convention Center, 501 S. College St., at this step competition. Hosted by Wild ‘N’ Out’s Darren Brand and Power 98’s No Limit Larry and Morning Maddhouse, the doors to this competition open at 6 p.m., so come early.

Spread Love The HBCU Way Tournament Day Party
Uptown, 1 p.m., $17
If you want to party and give back, this is the event for you. Proceeds from each ticket goes to benefit your selected HBCU alumni chapter. The party at Sydney’s Martini and Wine Bar, 401 N. Tryon St., features two DJs and goes until 8 p.m.

Fan Fest
Uptown, Times vary, Free
This two-day festival at the Charlotte Convention Center, 501 S. College St., features everything from a high school band competition to to-be-announced national recording artist’s concert. Check the schedule of events for a full listing and plan your trip.

Dirty South Vs. Everybody
Uptown, 8 p.m., Free
Three DJs host this party at Loft & Cellar, 305 W. Fourth St. There’s free admission with an RSVP before 10 p.m. After that, it’s $23.

Jeezy Tournament Party
Uptown, 9 p.m., $30
As the name suggests, Jeezy is the headliner at this party at Rooftop 210, 210 E. Trade St. The party goes until 1:30 a.m. on Saturday.

Playhouse
Uptown, 9 p.m., $17
DJ Flash is spinning beats tonight at Lucky’s Bar and Arcade. The event promoters promise this event will go to “heightened levels of debauchery,” so be prepared.

On the Hush
Uptown, 12 p.m., $28
Loft & Cellar is throwing this silent disco day party today at 305 W. Fourth St. If you’ve never been, a silent disco is just like a regular dance party except the music comes from inside headphones, so to a person not wearing the headphones, the dance party seems silent.

Tournament Alumni Day Party
LoSo, 1 p.m., $12
Queen Park Social, 4125 Yancey Road, is a bowling alley-bar-restaurant-arcade combination, and it’s adding two DJs until 7 p.m. to the already-fun mix.

Ultimate Day Party
Uptown, 12 p.m., $24
Suite hosts the 10th-annual “Ultimate Day Party” today until 6 p.m. DJ Nyce is in charge of music at this party at 210 E. Trade St.

DaydripDay Party
Uptown, 1:30 p.m., $39
Two DJs join a “special invited guest” at this day party at Kandy Bar, 210 E. Trade St. The party goes until 7:30 p.m.

Kid Capri Mix Master Tip-Off Day Party
Uptown, 12 p.m., $23
Kid Capri hosts this day party at Wild Wing Café, 210 E. Trade St., until 7 p.m. If you can’t make this but want to see Kid Capri, he’ll be at Howl at the Moon, 210 E. Trade St., on Thursday night.

Tournament Weekend Day Party
Uptown, 1 p.m., $17
Lucky’s Bar and Arcade is throwing an evening party tonight, but it’s also hosting this day party with DJ Loui Vee spinning beats. The party runs until 7 p.m.

Day Slay Party
Uptown, 4 p.m., $27
Atlantic Records, Ian Burke, DJ3 and Black Global Entertainment will be at the Famous Toastery, 330 S. Tryon St., today until 10 p.m. for this party.


SATURDAY (MARCH 2)

SkyHigh4 saturDAY Party
Uptown, 1 p.m., $23
Featuring music from New York City’s Power 105.1 DJ TY BOOGIE the Mixtape King and DJ KI of The Park in Washington, this two-level party at Howl at the Moon, 210 E. Trade St., is sure to be popping. The day party goes until 7 p.m.

La Di Da Di Day Party
South End, 12 p.m., $33
This day party also takes over the three venues of Slate Billiards, All American Pub and Hot Taco, 200 E. Bland St. The event features a different DJ at each venue and a live band. The party goes until 8 p.m.

Recess Day Party
Uptown, 12 p.m., $17
This day party at Vida, 210 E. Trade St., runs until 7 p.m. and includes a brunch buffet until 3 p.m. DJ Flash provides the music.

DMV Tourney Day Party
Uptown, 12 p.m., $12
Featuring two live bands (Suttle and Uptown Swagga) and a DJ, this day party at Wild Wings Café runs until 6 p.m.

Royale at the Ritz
Uptown, 9 p.m., $28
This semi-formal party at the Ritz Carlton, 201 E. Trade St., features two ballroom parties, passed appetizers, and multiple bar stations. The party goes until 2 a.m.

All Black at Blackfinn
Uptown, 9 p.m., $17
Wear all black to this end-of-tournament party at Blackfinn, 210 E. Trade St., and get ready to party.

2 Chainz Sprite Lymonade Official CIAA Saturday Day Party
Uptown, 12 p.m., $93
2 Chainz and a “special Def Jam guest” perform today at Rooftop 210, 210 E. Trade St. The party goes until 7 p.m.

Suite Life Saturday Day Party
Uptown, 1 p.m., $33
Two DJs host this annual day party at Suite, 210 E. Trade St. The dance party goes until 7 p.m.

DaBaby and Stunna  4 VegasTournament Party
Uptown, 9 p.m., $12
DaBaby performs tonight at Rooftop 210, 210 E. Trade St. The party goes until 1:30 a.m. on Sunday.


SUNDAY (MARCH 3)

Farewell 2019
Uptown, 3 p.m., Free
Bid adieu to the 2019 tournament at this day party at Suite, 210 E. Trade St. There’s free admission with RSVP before 4 p.m. After that, tickets are $23. The party features three DJs and goes until 8 p.m.

Jeezy Live
Uptown, 2 p.m., $44
Three DJs supply the music at this day party, which also features Jeezy. The day party at Howl at the Moon, 210 E. Trade St., goes until 10 p.m.

Daydream
Uptown, 1 p.m., $12
DJ Envy hosts this party at Lucky Bar and Arcade, 300 N. College St. The party goes until 7 p.m.

Bon Voyage Brunch
Uptown, 12 p.m., Free
Blackfinn, 210 E. Trade St., hosts this farewell brunch alongside a DJ spinning beats. The brunch has no admission fee before 3 p.m. with an RSVP.

Sunday Funday
LoSo, 2 p.m., Free
Queen Park Social, 4125 Yancey Road, throws another tournament weekend party today, and this elebration features DJ Nyce and DJ Tramare along with the spot’s usual games and attractions. 

Tournament Grand Finale
Uptown, 10 p.m., $22
Three DJs will be at Vault, 210 E. Trade St., tonight to close out CIAA tournament weekend. The party goes until 2 a.m. Monday.

Finale Brunch and Go-Go Day Party
Uptown, 12 p.m., $28
105.3 FM hosts its live broadcast at Wild Wing Café, 210 E. Trade St., today until 7 p.m. along with performances by the band Dymond Lyfe and DJ Kool.
