Internships

Comprehensive internship experiences are available for college students interested in magazine journalism and marketing. During an internship, a minimum of fifteen hours of work per week is required. Positions are unpaid but offer invaluable experience in all aspects of magazine journalism.
 

Open to college juniors and seniors & graduate students. A major in journalism or English is preferred. Interns are responsible for fact-checking, proofreading, research, and occasional writing. Candidates should exhibit strong grammar and writing skills. Internships are available during spring, fall, and summer semesters.

Open to college juniors and seniors & graduate students.  A major in marketing or communications is preferred. Interns have the opportunity to learn the many different facets of magazine marketing, public relations, event execution, circulation, and business planning. They assist in creating and executing communications and marketing strategies, researching and coordinating mailings, arranging PR activities, updating website listings, and coordinating special events. Internships are available for spring Jan-May, summer June-August, or winter September-December.
