For Mother’s Day this year, mom deserves a relaxing brunch and a mimosa, or three. Sunday, May 12, is quickly approaching, so make reservations at one of the below Charlotte restaurants serving Mother's Day buffets and menus.


Brewers at 4001 Yancey

It may be a brewery, but this spot in lower South End earned a Best of the Best Award this year for its spectacular menu. For Mother’s Day, they’ll be serving a buffet for $40 per adult and $20 per kid. With purchase, you’ll receive your choice of a Bloody Mary, Beer-Mosa, or Mimosa. Plus, there will be wine specials, a photo booth, and games.


ROOTS Cafe

Throughout the weekend, ROOTS Café will be serving local strawberry cream brioche knots for $4 and smoked sausage from North Corner Haven farm with local potato strata for $11.


Reid’s Fine Foods SouthPark

Reid’s will have their usual Sunday brunch buffet from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., with the addition of a honey-glazed ham carving station and a dessert spread of cakes and pies. The cost is $30 per adult and $12.99 for kids 12 and under.

For $45 for adult and $20 for kids 12 and under, indulge in a buffet of oysters on the half shell, pan roasted salmon, a roasted strip loin carving station, and more. Diners will also receive their choice of a mimosa or Bloody Mary.

This Wolfgang Puck dining concept is serving specials, including $7 donuts with vanilla-lemon glaze and seasonal filling; $22 Smoked Salmon Pizza with dill cream, caviar, and chives; and $15 Shakshuka with lamb sausage, spiced tomato sauce, caramelized onions, and cilantro.

Located in the Holiday Inn Charlotte Center City, Chef Luca Annunziata will be preparing tapas served tableside, a New York strip carving station, an omelette bar, and a 15-item buffet.


Bulla Gastrobar

This Spanish tapas restaurant is serving both brunch, opening an hour early at 10 a.m., and a special Paella’s menu for dinner. All moms at dinner will receive a $20 gift card to use at their next visit.


Rí Rá Charlotte

This Irish pub will have a special menu along with live music and dancers from 12 to 2 p.m. Plus, there will be a kids craft corner to make Mother’s Day cards and a free dessert for every mom.

The Ritz-Carlton's steakhouse’s brunch menu will feature tuna tartare, brioche French toast, and hanger steak and frites.


Fran’s Filling Station

Fran Scibelli's Dilworth restaurant will open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a menu that features breakfast pastries, seasonal fruit salad, beef bourguignon, and more.


La Belle Helene

This French brasserie in Uptown is offering its regular Sunday brunch with complimentary valet parking from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.


Pink Cactus Bar + Kitchen

In addition to its regular food, this new Southwestern restaurant is offering a special brunch menu, as well as endless bellinis for $20 and $5 sangria. Dishes include a Belgian waffle with two eggs, bacon, and fresh strawberries for $10 and grilled filet mignon with herbs and butter Brussels sprouts for $20.
