I am really surprised not to see Dr. Deborah Bosley of UNCC on this list. A philathropist, leading advocate and expert in the plain language movement, board member on several boards over the years (including leading The Light Factory for a number of years), and very influential in advocacy for women in the workplace-- absense of her name seems very strange to me.
