2013 Bridal Showcase Rundown
Casey and Amy, all smiles at our booth

Hundreds of eager brides to-be poured into the Charlotte Convention Center Sunday afternoon to peruse the works of countless Queen City vendors. Yours truly had our own booth as well, stocked with piles of our new issue, a chic white seating arrangement by Party Reflections, and a stunning floral arrangement by Lily Greenthumb's. While Amy and Casey remained camped out, sharing laughs and light conversation with the blushing brides to-be, I joined the ranks of sparkling-left-hand girls in their winding search for everything 'I do' related. And rest assured, these vendors did not disappoint. From busy chefs cooking up on-the-spot culinary creations to ornate table settings complete down to caligraphy place cards, nothing was left to the imagination. No girl could escape without catching the wedding bug. Here's  a look at some of the pretty little details that caught my eye.

Pretty in Pink

These ultra-feminine tablescapes felt quintessentially romantic. Rosette linens gave an added touch of texture–and made for some stunning photographs! Napkins folded like bows were positively adorable. And gold flatware that popped against ivory and pale pink would be perfect for a black tie wedding.

Green Thumb

Exotic blooms and rustic accents were reminiscent of a fairytale. Who would have thought moss and driftwood could look so elegant running down the center of a table? The range of hues, texture and size in this bouquet was positively stunning.

Mellow Yellow

The ever-popular color scheme of yellow and grey felt anything but overdone in this refreshingly modern tablescape. With chevron menus tucked neatly into crisp linens and vibrant blooms in a mix of whites and yellows, this setting would be perfect for a sleek yet playful wedding.

Let's Hear It For The Boys

These dainty morsels packed the flavor punch and gained many nods of approval from accompanying fiances. And, of the many groomsmen-themed sweets I've seen, this one took the cake!
