SWEET! The Blaxploitation Film Series Vol. 2
SWEET! is all about celebrating the best of the worst 1970s-era Blaxploitation films, and you’ll have fun watching them. This month’s film is Disco Godfather, starring Dolemite. College Night: Neon Glow Paint Party

Studio Tabac Tour 2012
This is a great event for cigar aficionados or if you want to learn more about the culture. Studio Tabac brand director Bryan Scholle will present a cigar rolling exhibition, and there will be special discounts and gifts given away. 4-7 p.m. Free. Engage Charlotte Mixer
The Charlotte Chamber’s young professionals organization presents this networking event for 21- to 39-year-olds. Alive After Five (weekly event)
It’s the largest weekly after-work party in the city. Enjoy live music this week by 80s party band Girlz, Girlz, Girlz on the rooftop stage, and Coconut Groove on the courtyard stage. Bowling 4 Booty
Enjoy a fun-filled evening of bowling during this fundraiser to benefit Levine Cancer Institute’s fundraising efforts for the annual 24 Hours of Booty cycling event. Hop Head Brewery Night
