Charlotte Wine&Food Weekend 2014
The big event announces restaurant partners
Being still relatively new to Charlotte, I have not yet had an opportunity to experience Charlotte's Wine & Food Weekend: a big giant festival (more or less) at locations across the Charlotte area including restaurants, wineries, the Ritz-Carlton, Founders Hall, and more.
The reason I'm filling you in about this exciting April event today is because tickets for many of the events will go on sale January 18. The official ticket launch party will take place at Bonterra Dining and Wine Room at 3 pm on January 18. They are $35 each and limited. You can also buy tickets online at the official Charlotte Wine & Food Weekend website.
Additionally, restaurant partners have been announced. On the evening of April 24 at 7, each of these restaurant's will host a "dinner party" simultaneously across Charlotte. They are: Aria, Barrington’s, BLT Steak, Bonterra Dining & Wine Room, Café Monte, Custom Shop, E2 Emeril’s, Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse, Dressler’s at Metropolitan, Fahrenheit Restaurant Charlotte, Fig Tree, Halcyon, Napa on Providence, Savannah Red, The Duke Mansion, The Palm, Toscana, Upstream and Zebra. Ticket prices for each restaurant vary and will be listed on the website for sale beginning on January 18 at 3:00pm.
What are the benefits of getting your tickets now, you ask? With an early ticket purchase, you'll have the opportunity to become a patron "weekend friend" with special access like priority check-in at events, concierge services, rebates, and more. The party for the ticket launch at Bonterra will feature wine, food, and brews.
We'll check back in with the Charlotte Wine & Food Weekend in the coming months, but on the radar (already) as far as events as concerned: a vintner's tasting, private in-home dinners, cooking demonstrations, wine education classes, and a live auction.
