Uptown Friday Happy Hour

Friday Live! at the Factory (weekly event)
This nine-week series kicks off this evening, featuring live performances this Friday by Spin Doctors and Paper Tongues. Admission to this event also gets you into several of the surrounding NC Music Factory venues, such as The Saloon, Wet Willie’s, Osso, VBGB, Label, and Saddle Up. 6-11 p.m. $5 in advance; $10 at the door; season pass for $35. 23rd Annual Derby Days
It’s an annual affair for Charlotte socialites, presented by the Young Affiliates of The Mint. Enjoy an afternoon of live music, lawn games, food, drinks, and a large screen showing the Kentucky Derby.
