Wolfgang Puck Pizza offers monthly dinner series

Yet another fabulous Charlotte eatery has divulged plans for a Monthly Dinner Series menu. Wolfgang Puck Pizza | Bar has announced its its inaugural Cooked, Corked, and Poured dinner event, which will take place on September 19 at 7:30 p.m. 

The dinners will pair all-star chef Wolfgang Puck's flair for the eclectic with local brews, wines, and spirits. For the first dinner event, all four courses will be paired with beers from Greensboro's Natty Greene's Brewing Company. The menu is as follows:

Appetizers:
~ Butternut squash pizza with brussels sprouts, crispy prosciutto, and ricotta salata
~ Duck sausage pizza with pickled onions, goat cheese, and watercress

1st Course:
Pan-roasted sea scallop with acorn squash puree, macadamia nut butter, candied kumquat, with a citrus cardamom sauce

2nd Course:
Tagliatelle carbonara with crispy prosciutto, butternut squash, cipollini onions, and a poached quail egg

3rd Course:
Chanterelle braised pork with brussels sprouts and kale hay, crispy pork and honey-bourbon paint

4th Course:
Pear financier cake with Red Nose Ginger brittle and maple ginger snap gelatto

Make sure you RSVP as soon as possible to reserve a table for the September 19 gathering. Cost is $50 per person, not including tax and gratuity.
