Election Night 2012 Watch Parties in Charlotte

A seemingly never-ending presidential election season is finally coming to an end. If you voted early, kudos to you. If you’re voting on Election Day, Tuesday, November 6, wear your “I Voted” sticker proudly (local election info: meckboe.org). And regardless of what political party you support, here’s a list of cocktail parties, ahem, watch parties, for you to celebrate having exercised your civic duty.

Tuesday, November 6

Red, White and Booze
This nonpartisan party features complimentary food from Dandelion Market, and in the spirit of democracy, you’re asked to cast your vote for best shot and drink between Absolut and Southern Comfort Cherry. National Nacho Day/Election Day Party

This isn’t an election watch event, instead it’s the popular, bi-monthly social event put on by the McDevitt Agency—if you’re seeking respite from politics Tuesday evening. Greater Charlotte Libertarians Election Results Watch Party
Join the volunteers and staff from Libertarians Gary Johnson, Barbara Howe, and Jason Bateman's campaigns. Mecklenburg County Democratic Party Victory Party
Party leaders—such as Congressman Mel Watt and candidate Jennifer Roberts, City Councilman David Howard, and County Commissioner Vilma Leake—and supporters of the Meck Dem Party are gathering to watch the results come in and root for their candidates, from the local to the national level. Pat McCrory Election Night Celebration

Election Night Charlotte: Poll Viewing and After-Party
RoundTable Entertainment and Sol Kitchen, the groups that bring you the weekly Pop Life event, will be partying and invite supporters of all political parties.
