Free LED Lighting Distributed Door-to-Door Tomorrow

Lucky locals will get some energy-efficient bulbs if they’re around tomorrow evening.

You can’t say no to a free light bulb.

Tomorrow at 1 p.m., the Climate Action staff of the NC League of Conservation Voters will be at the Arbor Glen Outreach Center (1520 Clanton Road). Here, they’ll discuss the program to media and prepare to distribute LED light bulbs to the neighborhood.

Then, at 5 p.m., residents can expect volunteers with the program to knock on their doors with free LED light bulbs. In addition to a new bulb, they will also receive valuable information about how much energy LED lighting can save, ultimately lowering residents' power bills.
