Free Museum Weekend for BofA Cardholders

Being a city dominated by big banks has its drawbacks – I don’t think I need to name them for you. But this weekend, we get a little perk. Anyone who has a Bank of America credit card (which, I would suspect, is most of us) get free entrance into several of the city’s top museums on July 3 and 4.

Participating museums in Charlotte include the Mint Museum, the Charlotte History Museum and the Levine Museum of the New South.

Got too many 4th of July plans to take advantage of the deal this weekend? Don’t fret  –  you can do it the first weekend of every month through December 2010, and the deal will apply to the new Mint Museum and Mint Museum of Craft + Design when it opens in October!

It was about time that credit card in your wallet did a little something for you, wasn’t it?
