Get Inked by World-Famous Tattoo Artists at This Charlotte Festival

Get a new tattoo, meet more than 250 tattoo and permanent makeup artists, and enjoy live music and entertainment at the Queen City Tattoo & Arts Festival and 2nd Annual Permanent Makeup Conference October 18-21, 2019.

In a committed relationship with ink? The Queen City Tattoo & Arts Festival was made for you. Featuring the 2nd Annual Permanent Makeup Conference, which runs through October 21 in the same location, the Queen City Tattoo & Arts Festival will take place Oct. 18-Oct. 20, 2019, at the Charlotte Convention Center in uptown.

This massive celebration of tattoo artistry and permanent makeup brings together ink-lovers of all ages. Of course, you’ve got to 18 or older to receive a tattoo at the festival, but that doesn’t mean young ones can’t hang out. In fact, there are plenty of kid-friendly activities—all-female music ensemble BellaNova Electric Strings will be providing live music, and there will be pumpkin carving, stilt walkers, face painting, magic acts, and more entertainment to excite the whole family.

For the tattoo-obsessed adults, there’s even more fun to be found. More than 250 tattoo and permanent makeup artists will be present at the expo, along with local art-for-purchase and 30 vendors dishing out merchandise. If you’ve got new art you’re proud of, enter yourself in the tattoo contests for the chance to win a trophy!

Quite a few famous names will be in attendance (in addition to talented Charlotte artists), so if you’re looking for the chance to get tatted by one of the best in the business, buy your festival tickets before prices go up October 1. The event also includes educational seminars for aspiring permanent makeup artists from some of the biggest names in the industry such as Brow Daddy, Mandy Sauler, and Jill Hoyer.
