YAM Happy Hour

Glow Paint Party

Girls Night Out (monthly movie night)
You can enjoy your favorite chick flicks on the big screen every second Wednesday of the month, for a special $1 admission. This Wednesday’s showing is Legally Blonde, enhanced by the fact that you can order dinner and cocktails at this posh movie theater-bar-lounge. Taste of the New South: Murphy to Manteo
It’s the museum’s signature fundraising event, and this year they’re taking you on a culinary trip across the state without leaving the building. The menu features Southern-style egg rolls, fried green tomatoes, fried oysters, Eastern and Western North Carolina barbecue, fried flounder, jumbo crab cakes, state fair-style desserts, and more. There’ll also be an assortment of Southern tea and lemonade cocktails, along with local craft beer and wine, while you’re entertained by live music and visual performers. 6 p.m. $85 for Levine Museum members, $100 for nonmembers. NYC Takeover
