I had 17 voicemails at home yesterday
...16 of them from political candidates. And a Barack Obama supporter just drove a van past our office. He had a bullhorn, and he wasn't afraid to use it. Yes, I'm ready for the election to be over.
Of course, that may mean that Charlotte's little run in the spotlight may be over. From the bank troubles (OK, not the ideal reason to be in the spotlight) to the hotly contest presidential and gubernatorial race, Charlotte has been a fixture in the national media. Katie Couric was here, NPR has been checking in regularly, 60 Minutes has been seemingly camped out. That part's been kinda fun.
I guess it's up to the Panthers to keep bringing the noise. Oh, and Davidson's Stephen Curry.
