Friday, June 8
Lake Live at 5 (weekly event)
There are after-work party/concert series happening all around Charlotte, and now Lake Norman has one. This is the kickoff to this new weekly, Friday event, featuring food and drink specials, games, and music. Enjoy live music on the patio by Pursey Kurns, 5-9 p.m. Then 9 p.m.-2 a.m., the fun moves inside for the after-party with a DJ. 5 p.m.-2 a.m. Free. Friday Live at the Factory (weekly event)
There are only a few weeks left for this weekly concert series. This Friday’s live performances are by Los Lonely Boys with Chris Cook. Enjoy many of the bars and restaurants surrounding the courtyard, including Bask, Osso, The Saloon, Wet Willie’s, and more. 6-11 p.m. (headliner goes on between 8:30 and 9 p.m.) General admission, $5; VIP, $40. Silent Disco Series
Silent Disco has become a phenomenon with its unique concept of wireless headphones providing the music directly from the DJ to the partygoer. No loud speakers needed. Suite’s Four-Year Anniversary Party with Lil Jon

Pacquiao vs. Bradley Fight Viewing Party

5Church, uptown’s newest restaurant, launches its weekly brunch party this Sunday. Enjoy great food, and drinks such as handmade white sangria, mojitos, caipirinha, and mimosas.
