Lottery for “Wicked” Tix
The good folks behind the touring production of Wicked like to make premium tickets available at deep discount on the day of each show. Seeing as the show sold out in near-record time, the lottery may be your only shot, if you're dead-set on attending. Details after the jump.
From the press release:
A day-of-performance lottery for a limited number of seats will be held daily for WICKED, which will perform from Wed, April 9 to Sun, April 20 at Ovens Auditorium. Each day, 2½ hours prior to show time, people who present themselves at the Ovens Auditorium box office (2700 E. Independence Blvd.) will have their names placed in a lottery drum and then thirty minutes later, names will be drawn for a total of 20 orchestra level seats at $25 each, cash only. You must be present at Ovens to win and show valid identification. This lottery is available only in-person at the box office, with a limit of two tickets per person.
The Ovens parking lots will be open for lottery participants starting three hours before curtain and there will be no charge for parking. Please identify yourself as a lottery participant to the lot attendant.
