Morton's Hosts Wine Dinner for Race Week

Some folks prefer chicken wings and beer for Race Week. For others, a four-course wine dinner is more like it. For the latter group, Morton's is here to provide. On May 24, the uptown steakhouse is hosting a wine dinner with special guest Kevin Buckler of Sonoma's Adobe Road Winery. Buckler is a former racecar driver and founder of The Racer's Group, one of the top race teams in the biz. He also owns Adobe Road, which specializes in hand-crafted, small-lot wines.. The dude knows how to live. Anyway, he has been putting together wine dinners across the country to coincide with big races. This one is the Thursday before the Coca Cola 600. The reception begins at 6:30 and seating is at 7. Tickets are $150 per guest and include tax and tip. Make reservations by calling 704-333-2602 or by clicking here.
