News and Notes

I haven’t posted in awhile, so if these seem like a random assortment of what might pile up in a dining editor’s inbox, it’s because they are.

Thanksgiving at Mez

Mez is offering a Thanksgiving brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, November 25 (as in Thanksgiving Day).  Chef Anoosh Shariat will be presenting the meal that includes carving stations (think rosemary roasted pork loin), breakfast selections (such as applewood smoked bacon and country pork sausage), and side dishes (like sweet potato casserole and cranberry chutney). And, of course, there will be desserts including pumpkin and pecan pies. It’s $18.95 per person. Call 704.971.2400 for reservations.
