It's hard not get to get caught up in it. Lots of Charlotte representation, too. Cullen Jones and Ricky Berens have already won gold medals in swimming. And props to the Observer for sending three (that I know of) folks to Beijing--sports editor Mike Persinger, reporter/columnist Scott Fowler (although I'm getting tired of reading about the foods that Scott won't try), and a photographer. I'm assuming they're providing coverage for the Raleigh paper, too. Also, be sure to check out Charlottean Bill McMillan's blog at the Charlotte Regional Sports Commission's website. Bill is on staff with CRSC and is in Beijing doing some work for USA Canoe and Kayak.
