Original NoDa Brewing Location Re-Opening in May

NoDa Brewing Company will re-open its original location at 2229 N. Davidson St. next month. The business, which originally opened this spot in October 2011, has since opened a 32,000 square-foot facility on North Tryon Street and a taproom at the Charlotte Douglas International Airport. NoDa Brewing promises a facelift as well as some aged sours, at its "OG Grand (re)Opening" on March 17.

The original location closed in July 2016, due primarily due to limited parking periled by proposed development, as reported by Matt McKenzie at the time. “We batted a ton of ideas around … we could do anything really that we wanted, but every time it came back to parking,” co-owner Suzie Ford told McKenzie. “The space just isn’t there. We really toyed with every single scenario out there on how to make this work. Trust me, the last thing we wanted to do was close down.”

Do you remember the day you first fell in love? We remember it like it was yesterday. October 29, 2011. That was the day we opened our doors to the world at ‪2229 N. Davidson Street‬. A lot has changed in the past 8 ½ years, but one thing remains the same. The OG will always have our heart (and maybe yours too).⁣ ⁣ It’s with great excitement that we announce that it’s back. Yes, the OG will open its doors on May 17th once again, but this time with a face-lift. In dog years we are almost 60 so it seemed fitting. ⁣ ⁣ Not only do we have a new look, but we’ve got some amazing sours on tap that we’ve been aging for a couple years.
