Party with Nelly, Panthers Tailgate, Alpha Luau, Gatsby Gala, and More August 8-11

This is the 25th year of the annual Great Gatsby Gala, a popular, 1920s-themed fundraiser for multiple sclerosis research.

There are plenty of great parties and social events taking place this weekend, including the return of Panthers football and several fundraisers for good causes.

Green Drinks

The Roaring Riot, the group of diehard Panthers fans, has found a new venue this season for Cans:Recycled, their parties during and after home games. 2013 Alpha Luau
The Beta Nu Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity presents this annual luau, inviting you to come out in your Hawaiian-styled best and enjoy good food, music by DJ 06, and prizes (this is a BYOB event). Charlotte-based With These Hands DJ Academy has partnered with Sprite to form With These Hands Sprite Music Academy, to move global street culture forward through street arts education and cultural celebrations.
