Super Bowl LII Parties in Charlotte

WE CAN ALMOST start reusing the text from years prior if the New England Patriots keep appearing in the Super Bowl. This year, the team will take on the Philadelphia Eagles for the National Football League’s top prize. The game starts at 6:30 p.m., and, as always, we’ve compiled your top list of Charlotte’s best Super Bowl parties.

 

Belfast Mill
Uptown, 6 p.m., Free
Celebrate an American tradition at this Irish pub tonight. Specials include $3 domestic beers, $4 well drinks and $5 plates of the bar’s Super Bowl appetizers. There’s no admission fee to this party at 144 Brevard Court, and it goes until 2 a.m.

Flight
Uptown, noon, Free
This “super party” features $2.50 16-ounce domestic beers, $10 domestic beer buckets and $3 shots. There’s no admission fee, but to ensure your spot, send an email reservation to jstanley@flightclt.com.

La Revolucion
North Carolina Music Factory, 5 p.m., Free
La Revolucion, 900 North Carolina Music Factory Blvd., is throwing a Super Bowl fiesta, complete with 52 TVs, $2 tacos, $20 domestic beer buckets and $25 imported beer buckets. There’s no admission fee to the party, but submitting an RSVP is the only way to guarantee a reserved table.

Lucky’s Bar and Arcade
Uptown, 6 p.m., $31
With more than 20 TVs at this bar and arcade, you'll have plenty of places to watch the big game. Plus, if you want to sneak away for a classic arcade game, you’ll be in the right place. Your ticket tonight buys you eight beer or wine tickets, 20 tokens and access to a game-day buffet.

Lucky Dog Bark and Brew
FreeMoreWest, 1 p.m., Free
Join this dog-friendly bar at 2220 Thrift Road for the second-annual Puppy Bowl. From 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. (so you’ll still have time for the game after), you’ll get to watch the Puppy Bowl featuring adoptable dogs from Pits and Giggles Rescue or enter your own in a best-dressed costume contest. The bar will also feature giveaways, a food truck, a photo booth and a dog-friendly vendor. For the humans, the bar’s offering $12 domestic beer buckets and $5 Tito’s.  

Rooftop210
Uptown, 4 p.m., $30
An all-inclusive ticket to this party gets you free beer, wine and well liquor from 6 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. The party starts at 210 E. Trade St., and you can upgrade your ticket for $11 to include an appetizer buffet.

Tin Roof
Uptown, 11 a.m., Free
This EpiCentre spot’s open all day with no admission fee, so pace yourself. Oh yeah, when the actual football game comes on, Tin Roof, 210 E. Trade St., will have 20 TVs playing the game, plus $2 mimosas, $3 Bud Light bottles, and a Bloody Mary bar.

Whisky River
Uptown, 11 a.m., Free
Featuring 50-cent wings, $4 Fireball shots and $10 buckets of beer (you read that correctly), you’ll maybe find the ability to watch the actual football game. The EpiCentre spot at 210 E. Trade St. is also giving away prizes every quarter. There’s no admission fee, but to reserve your table, send an email to events@whiskyrivercharlotte.com.

Wooden Robot Brewery
South End, noon, $9
Before the big game, head to Wooden Robot, 1440 S. Tryon St., for a pregame oyster roast. Along with the oysters, the brewery will release a special brew, Oyster Gose, brewed with oyster shells and sea salt. A ticket (purchased at the door) buys you half a dozen oysters with all the fixings.
