Treat mom to a Mother’s Day tea from now until this Saturday at The Ballantyne. Enjoy tea sandwiches and sweets with your tea, and add a Champagne Rosebud or Pink Lady Cocktail for an additional charge. If mom prefers brunch with the family, join The Ballantyne on Sunday for brunch and live entertainment. Moms receive a complimentary glass of champagne or mimosa. Brunch is complimentary for children ages 4 and under. Reservations are required for both events.
Both locations will be offer a special menu on Sunday for lunch and dinner. Guests can enjoy three courses, trying dishes like Thai calamari with peanut sauce and wasabi to pan-roasted crabcakes with a pecan remoulade. An assortment of desserts round out the menu, including (of course) Mom's cheesecake, apple pie, and carrot cake. Kids eat for just $10.

Chef Tom Condron's Myers Park restaurant celebrates Mother's Day with a menu that balances lighter offerings (think citrus-cured salmon with cucumber salad or bluefin tuna nicoise) with more decadent choices, such as duck a l'Orange or lamb chops with black truffle lamb jus. All tables will start off with fresh gougeres—light puff pastries made with cheese—and Mornay sauce. A separate menu for kids is also available for the event. Call to reserve.

Vivace's Executive Chef Mike Suppa offers a spring menu made just for mom, one that comes complete with mimosas, bellinis, and a bloody Mary bar. A three-course menu featuring breakfast and lunch items will be available from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Dishes include spaghetti carbonara, chicken with parmesan gnocchi, and a breakfast polenta made with figs and sweet ricotta. Desserts, which can be ordered separately or as part of the three-course offering, include a mascarpone cheesecake and banana and Nutella crepes.
