The Avett Brothers' Joe Kwon is Chef for a Night at Harvest Moon Grille

On the evening of June 13th (that’s next Monday), Joe Kwon from The Avett Brothers band will be teaming up with Chef Cassie Parsons at the Harvest Moon Grille. Joe Kwon will be playing host during dinner hours that evening and helping to prepare dishes from a special tasting menu featuring food from local farms. The menu, which is created by Kwon and Parsons, will draw on his Korean roots and her Polish ones for inspiration. It can be ordered in its entirety or a la carte, and the restaurant’s regular menu will be available as well. Dinner service starts at 5 p.m. and ends at 10 p.m.

A portion of the evening’s proceeds will go to Farmer Foodshare, a local farm sustainability and hunger relief organization that works with Atherton Market. Plus, diners will have the chance to learn how to support the organization through donations and volunteering.
