The city's first open-air rooftop restaurant?

Cleveland chef Rocco Whalen plans Fahrenheit location atop Skye Condos

Fahrenheit, a popular restaurant in Cleveland's Tremont district, offers what chef Rocco Whalen calls "contemporary American regional cuisine." (Find a current menu on the restaurant's website, here.)

Today, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that Whalen is planning a Charlotte location of his popular restaurant, coming this October to the top of Skye Condos at the corner of Third and Caldwell uptown. Whalen says the restaurant will be the city's first open-air rooftop eatery. Expect the 9,000-square-foot restaurant to include 200 seats and a pair of linear fire pits—as well as offering meals-to-order for Skye residents and room service for guests at the building's Hyatt.
