In partnership with Caroline Calouche & Co.
I wanted to reach out to you regarding my annual Ugly Sweater Holiday party benefiting TOYS FOR TOTS Charlotte.
What? Every year I host an Ugly Sweater Holiday Party where guests bring toys for donation or pay $10 at the door and wear their ugliest sweater.
How does the Toys for Tots program work?
The mission of the program “is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.”
When? Wednesday, November 20th from 5:30 to 8:30pm (trying to get ahead of all the other holiday parties).
Why? Great cause!! We always collect a lot of large boxes filled with toys on top of collecting cash to go by more toys.
Where? THE MANCHESTER (1812 south blvd, charlotte, Southend)
We have a contest for ugliest sweater (1st, 2nd and 3rd place) with prizes donated by local vendors.
I host this party myself so I don’t have an advertising budget. Can you guys work with me??
I look forward to hearing from you.
This family friendly community event will held on Saturday, November 23rd from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the Bright Blessings Giving Village located in Matthews and will benefit children living in our local homeless shelters. Participants can enjoy fun holiday treats and activities while they help brighten Christmas for a child in need this year. Guests are invited to help with “Trim-a-Tree” and “Stuff-a-Stocking” service projects. These joy filled packages will be distributed to children in local homeless shelters across Charlotte in December. Each service project requires a $5 donation. The event will offer train rides, sand art, refreshments, and a special visit from Santa FREE to all attendees.

On Thursday, Dec. 12, Good Friends Charlotte, a women’s non-profit organization, and movement, that improves lives and inspires hope for families facing financial challenge, will host its 33rd-annual holiday luncheon. Join nearly 1,800 women to help raise funds for our Charlotte neighbors, with a goal to surpass more than $500,000 raised in 2018.
To help share our story, Good Friends welcomes guest speakers Erica Bryant, WSOC news anchor; Tana Greene, CEO at My Work Choice; and Kathryn Hill, President and CEO at Levine Museum of the New South. In addition, Maudia Melendez, Executive Director at Jesus Ministry, Inc. will deliver the invocation.
Bringing your little one allows us to show you the proper harnessing for your child specifically. However, we can still offer guidance if your child is unable to attend with you.
