Time Warner Cable BBQ and Blues
This weekend is the 9th annual Time Warner Cable BBQ and Blues Festival—which means that if you haven’t taken the opportunity to walk the streets of uptown enjoying some of the region’s best barbecue yet, then it is definitely time. Bring family and friends this weekend, September 9th and 10th, to enjoy music and an array of foods including BBQ, funnel cakes, and even shrimp.
This is the largest festival sanctioned by the Memphis BBQ Network in the Southeast with more than 100 teams expected to pile into town this weekend for the $25,000 prize and the chance to represent MBN in 2012.
The festival offers free parking and admission and the main events begin today at 5pm. On Saturday the events begin at 11am, so take advantage. The event is located at 935 N Graham Street, Charlotte, NC 28206.
