When did you know you were going to be a doctor? On the first two days of my rotation, I knew that's what I wanted to do.
What's the best part about being an anesthesiologist? Being able to help control situations where patients are in need of urgent and life saving treatment.
What's the hardest part about your job? Losing kids that are in trauma is very hard, and luckily it doesn't happen often. It's hard when you lose a patient. I can remember every person I have ever lost.
What do you do when you aren't working? I like to drink wine and do yard work with my wife, golf with the boys, and I have an interest in learning how to paint.
What's your healthiest and unhealthiest habit? My unhealthiest is lack of exercise and my healthiest is taking my medicine.
What's your guilty pleasure? Eating buttered and salted popcorn and watching action movies that I have seen over and over.
