Mingle with local artists and hipsters, enjoy a glass of wine, and take in this ridiculously nice late fall weather at the NoDa Gallery Crawl on Friday night. Held every first and third Friday each month, these evenings give you the chance to experience the sights and sounds of Historic North Charlotte’s Arts District. GIVE BACK
(And mingle with Charlotte’s future community leaders) at The Young Affiliates of the Mint annual Black & White Gala. The Thursday night party benefits the Mint Museum’s programs for children and includes food from Cosmos, an open bar, and live entertainment. The event runs from 7 to 11 p.m., but your wristband offers you free admission to Suite, BlackFinn, and Whisky River so you can continue your evening late night at EpiCentre. Nicole Atkins, a one time Charlotte resident, now famed singer and songwriter, will be at the Neighborhood Theater performing songs from her popular album, Neptune City. Truth be told, we know her more from her Old Navy commercial tunes than any of her full songs that have graced festivals like Austin City Limits and Bonnaroo, but that doesn’t make us any less excited to see her perform.
