J. Cole, Meek Mill, Anthony Hamilton to Perform at 2019 NBA All-Star Game

North Carolina native J. Cole and Meek Mill will headline the NBA All-Star Game at Spectrum Center on Feb. 17, performing during halftime. And the Grammy-nominated, Fayetteville-raised rapper isn’t the only big name on the list: Charlotte’s own Anthony Hamilton will sing the U.S. National Anthem, while Carly Rae Jepsen provides the Canadian National Anthem before tip-off.
This is the second time Charlotte has hosted the All-Star Game. During the first, a 1991 event at the Charlotte Coliseum, Bruce Hornsby provided the National Anthem. (And for basketball followers: Charles Barkley was the MVP of that game.)
