New Italian Restaurant to Open in South End
From the people behind Flower Child, North Italia opens on Nov. 13
Next month, on November 13, North Italia will open its first North Carolina location in The Railyard development in South End, just a quarter mile from its sister restaurant, Flower Child.
North Italia—which also has locations in Arizona and Texas, among other states—promises housemade pastas, pizzas, and small plate dishes, including white truffle garlic bread, Tuscan kale salad, and Bolognese. Cap off a meal with desserts like salted caramel budino and spiced orange pistachio cake.
The 7,500-square foot space will also have a full bar with signature cocktails like Life In Italics with Aviation gin, Italicus Roslio, peach bitters, lavender blossom, and Fever Tree Mediterranean tonic.
“More than your typical Italian restaurant,” the restaurant stated in an email, “North Italia takes attention to detail seriously, creating an environment that lets you know you’re in for something special.”
