Real Engagements: Joel + Sara

Sara and Joel should’ve known fate would intervene when the two New Yorkers moved to Charlotte within six months of each other. A few casual exchanges turned into a few casual dates and it wasn't long before Joel knew Sara was the one he wanted to spend his life with.

What started as any other Friday night quickly turned into a fairy tale. While Sara was getting ready to go out on the town, Joel secretly set up the couple’s back deck with lights and candles. She came out to find their once-ordinary deck transformed into a sparkly wonderland. Joel got down on one knee and Sara wasted no time saying “yes!”
