Rusty Rabbit Expands

The Elizabeth shop is growing to include a statuary garden and workshops.

AFTER MOVING FROM ITS SPACE on North Davidson Street last fall, Rusty Rabbit Design continues to find new uses for the Elizabeth house it moved into. The bottom floor was first to open, with an array of furniture (new and reclaimed), local goods, gifts, and jewelry for sale. The upstairs was the next space to open, and serves as a sales space for local artisans and a studio for artist Donna Heil. Now, husband-and-wife owners John and Shameem Ravelli are also offering classes, including one on painting with milk and RePurpose paints. As of press time, plans to open an outdoor space behind the building with planters and a statuary garden were on track for early spring.
