BLUMENTHAL PERFORMING ARTS

AFTER A MASSIVE RUN in Charlotte last year, Blumenthal Performing Arts confirms to Charlotte magazine that Hamilton will again grace a local stage in an upcoming season. This comes after the show was confirmed for Durham Performing Arts Center's 2020-'21 season.

The 2019-'20 Broadway Lights season was announced last month, with the following schedule: Once On This Island (Nov. 12-17, 2019; Belk Theater), The Play That Goes Wrong (Nov. 19-Dec.1, 2019; Knight Theater), Roald Dahl’s Charlie And The Chocolate Factory (December 10-15, 2019; Ovens Auditorium), Come From Away (January 7-12, 2020; Belk Theater), My Fair Lady (Jan. 21-26, 2020; Ovens Auditorium), Anastasia (April 28-May 3, 2020; Ovens Auditorium), Jesus Christ Superstar (July 28–Aug. 2, 2020; Belk Theater), and Disney’s Frozen (Oct. 7-18, 2020; Belk Theater).

Given this schedule, Hamilton seems poised for the 2021 side of the slate.
