Head to Urban District Market for this PlantHouse Charlotte workshop, which guides you through making your own Japanese-style kokedama, a plant that grows from a twine-tied, moss-covered ball of soil.

Shed Brand Studio Stained Glass Class

Shaylor Knight’s parents and grandparents started what’s now Shed Brand Studio in a sheep shed in Charlotte in 1969. She’ll guide you through making a 12-by-12-inch stained glass piece using the traditional lead came method.

The artists at ColsenKeane Leather Goods & Provisions lead various leather-making workshops, including this immersive internship program, available to beginners as well as experienced leather crafters.
