Dilworth Facial Plastic Surgery tailors each patient’s plan to achieve their goals. The practice is known particularly for its deep-plane facelift and neck lift services: As we age, many of us face the same realities: loss of support and volume of the midface and cheeks; heaviness of nasolabial folds; formation of jowls; deepening and downturning of the mouth’s corners; and laxity of the neck under the chin. DFPS’ surgeons lift and smooth these areas; add definition to the jawline; and tighten the neck. Their deep plane “preservation” facelift allows its surgeons to create the most natural rejuvenation. Patients often opt to add procedures to refresh the brows, eyelids, and skin during this process.
Drs. Garcia and Surowitz, both dual board certified in head and neck surgery and facial plastic surgery, believe in providing warm, compassionate, high-touch care for patients. Dr. Garcia received her medical degree at East Carolina University; trained in head and neck surgery at Case Western Reserve; and completed a facial plastic surgery fellowship at Tulane University. Dr. Surowitz received his medical degree from UNC Chapel Hill, where he stayed for his residency in head and neck surgery, followed by a fellowship at Stanford University. Dilworth Facial Plastic Surgery’s in-house surgical suite is Quad-A accredited for maximum patient safety. They employ board-certified M.D. anesthesiologists to administer twilight anesthesia for surgical procedures, offering the highest level of safety and comfort for their patients.
