Alive After Five
There are only a few more installments of this weekly outdoor event remaining for the season, and this Thursday’s rocks out with Charlotte band Simplified on the rooftop stage. Social Supremacy
The semi-regular fundraising “happy hour for Charlotte socialites” returns and this one is hosted by Tiffany L. Jones of Digital Divas. Her co-hosts include Charlotte City Council candidate Darrell Bonapart, Mayor Pro Tem Patrick Cannon, Herb and Felicia Gray, James Rickmond, and more. Enjoy networking and live music, followed by a “Fall Flair” fashion show (7:30 p.m.), and music by DJ Flemingo. 6-10 p.m. $5 minimum donation, benefits the Hewitt Education Fund. Harvey B. DJ Pauly D
After his guest set at Britney Spears’ Femme Fatale Tour stop at Time Warner Cable Arena earlier in the night, DJ Pauly D of Jersey Shore fame will be spinning at this concert after-party. Butter Thursday
Whenever there are celebrities in town, you can expect this nightclub to be in on the action. Look for partiers to head here after the concert as well as following the show at The Comedy Zone. This night also serves as a birthday bash for Christian Webb. Drink specials include $3 domestics, $4 Royal Flush, $5 vodka drinks, and $100 vodka bottles.
